《对御歌》

对御歌

陈抟(北宋)

臣爱睡，臣爱睡，不卧毡，不盖被。

片石枕头，蓑衣铺地，震雷掣电鬼神惊，臣当其时正酣睡。

闲思张良，闷想范蠡，说甚孟德，休言刘备，三四君子，只是争此闲气。

争如臣向青山顶头，白云堆里，展开眉头，解放肚皮，且一觉睡。

管什玉兔东生，红轮西坠。

庞元英《谈薮》云：“陈抟隐武当山，后居华州云臺观，多闭户独卧，或累月不起。周世宗召入禁中，扃户试之，月余始开，抟熟寐如故。尝对御歌此诗云。”

I am fond of sleeping ,fond of sleeping,without carpet ,without quilt.

Pillowed on rubbles,lying on coir raincoats,I am soundly asleep the time when ghosts and gods-shaking thunderbolt strikes.

Pondering on Zhang Liang and Fan Li I feel choked,of Mengde and Liu Bei I speak none,these very fellows all missed the point and won no credit.

How can they compare with me,who just lie atop the blue mountain amid white clouds,soothe the brow, extend the belly ,and have a sleep through?

The rise of the Jade Hare in the east and the set of the red sun in the west are no more my concern at all.
